All Peking Institute instructors are accredited language teachers, native speakers of Mandarin, and have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from the US, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Canada. All teachers have standard Mandarin pronunciation and have completed Peking Institute Mandarin’s rigorous training program. Most importantly, they are committed to and enthusiastic about teaching and have a passion to help people learn to speak Mandarin and learn about Chinese culture.

Our native Chinese teachers are the backbone of our Institute and make it what we want it to be. Based on their long-time teaching experience. Our team works together to provide the best experience to every student – whether it’s for Careers & Practical Courses, HSK Prep Courses, or Business Chinese.

How do we choose our teachers?

Peking Institute has a strict policy when it comes to the teachers we hire. All instructors:

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree – most of our teachers have a Master’s degree.
• Are native Mandarin speakers with standard pronunciation.
• Are committed to and enthusiastic about teaching.

How do we train our team?

Our team completes a rigorous program that includes exams and trial lessons before they are given a full teaching load.

To ensure our teaching skills stay sharp, Peking Institute teachers participate in ongoing internal professional development training which ensures they are up to date on the latest.
